Brine’s Today screen: tonight’s quick chickpea and spinach curry, start by 18:35, and the week’s dinners as a row of plates.
You’re saying: “Something light, we’ll be late back. Maybe fish…”

Just say it

This week’s dinners, Sunday to Saturday, shown as plates.

A week of dinners, planned

Just say it

Things you can say to Brine: Something light tonight, we’ll be late back. Swap Friday for something veggie. Bought eggs, milk goes off Thursday. Plan the week, friends over on Saturday. Add kitchen roll and oat milk.

Plan the week, swap a dinner, update the fridge or add to the list, all by voice. Your iPhone turns speech into text on the device, and the audio is never uploaded.

01Plan

Say what you fancy. The week is planned in about a minute.

Talk or type, however it comes out: “quick tonight, something nicer Saturday, the kids are out Thursday.” Brine picks the dinners, brings back ones you loved and writes every new recipe for the people eating and what’s in your kitchen.

  • Plan one night or the whole week
  • Every recipe written for your household
  • Allergies, dislikes and spice levels built in
  • Swap any dinner with a sentence

02Cook

Cooking mode that keeps up with messy hands.

The step you’re on is a big card with the amounts, heat and timer picked out. Steps you’ve done fold away above it and the next two wait below, so you always know where you are without swiping back and forth.

  • Done steps fold away, next steps in view
  • Big Back and Next buttons
  • Timers run side by side
  • Timers on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island

03Shop

The shopping list writes itself.

Every ingredient from the week’s recipes, merged into one list and sorted by aisle, with real pack sizes. Brine leaves off what’s already in your kitchen, and ticks show up for everyone in the household.

  • Sorted in the order you walk the shop
  • “2 tins, 400 g each”, not “800 g”
  • Shared with the household as you tick
  • Add extras by voice

04Save

Screenshot a recipe on Instagram. Brine does the rest.

Screenshot the post, tap Share and choose Brine. Recipe websites work straight from Safari. Brine turns it into a proper recipe with steps, amounts and a shopping list, ready to drop into your week.

  • Screenshots from Instagram, TikTok or anywhere
  • Recipe websites straight from Safari
  • Up to four screenshots for longer recipes
  • Plan and cook it like any other dinner

05Remember

It learns what your household likes.

Tell Brine how dinner went in a tap or a sentence. It keeps what matters: the dinners you loved, the rice that needed longer, the person who picks out the peanuts.

  • Loved dinners come back
  • Notes shape the next version
  • See and remove anything it learned

06Kitchen

Tell it what’s in the fridge.

Say “bought eggs, milk goes off Thursday” and Brine updates the fridge, freezer and cupboard, then plans around what needs using first. After dinner it asks what’s left over.

  • Update it in one sentence
  • Use-by dates worked out for you
  • Leftovers go back after dinner

Made for how households really eat.

Questions

How much does Brine cost?

Brine is a subscription for the whole household, and new subscribers start with a free trial. You’ll see the current price for your country in the App Store before you pay anything. Cancel any time in your Apple account settings.

How fast is planning?

Say or type what kind of week it is and Brine plans it in about a minute, writing each new recipe as it goes. You can carry on using the app while it works.

What do I need to use it?

An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Brine is iPhone only for now.

Can my partner or family use it too?

Yes. A household shares one week of dinners, one shopping list and one kitchen, on one subscription. Ticks on the list show up for everyone while you shop.

Does it handle allergies and fussy eaters?

Each person in the household has their own allergies, likes, dislikes and spice level. Brine writes every recipe with those in mind and remembers what you tell it after dinner. Always check labels for allergens yourself.

Can I save recipes from Instagram?

Yes, with a screenshot. Screenshot the post (up to four screenshots for a long recipe), tap Share and choose Brine. Recipe websites work straight from Safari’s Share button. Each saved recipe counts as one of the week’s new recipes.

Is my voice recorded?

No. When you speak to Brine, your iPhone turns speech into text on the device. The audio is never uploaded or saved. Only the text is sent.

How many new recipes can I get?

Up to 30 new recipes a week for the household, topped up through the week. Cooking recipes you already have doesn’t count, so most weeks never get close.
